Hello, It's very much quality rather than quantity in this pocket-sized Christmas issue, with contributions from acclaimed author Catherine O'Flynn alongside regular favourites, and for the first time ever I've attempted to illustrate the whole thing using copyright-free images from the brilliant website fromoldbooks.org. The result is that it looks a bit like some Open University course notes the early 80s. I'm quite proud of myself for managing to suck all the joy out of Christmas. Extra points this month if you spotted an All The Rage namecheck in the national press. In her fascinating "My Week" article for The Independent, Miss O'Flynn was kind enough to mention that she was working on her piece for this magazine! Meanwhile, I mentioned a few of our previous contributors in an interview I did with Dollymix this week: http://tinyurl.com/yplnxf But we're not getting any younger. Get over to http://alltherage.org.uk/alltherage-2007-12.pdf now, and find out about: - what it's like to be a shopping centre Father Christmas - the history of gifts - Matt Langham's demands on Santa - sleeplessness - Sylvia's flaming puddings - Loads more! Apparently All The Rage has a Facebook group. I'm not on Facebook, but thanks to those who set it up and everyone who's joined. A thread from a Facebook discussion (? - sorry I don't know the jargon!) has been repurposed for an article this issue. Feel free to join, and make "threads" or whatever it is, and perhaps they'll be used in a future issue. Happy Christmas, and thanks for your support over the year.
